Tara (nee Hill) d'Artois is a long-time resident of Whistler and mother of Olympian and X-Games halfpipe snowboarder Simon d'Artois. She moved to British Columbia in the mid-1970s and married Michael d'Artois. She was active and remains active in ski racing, competing in the Peak to Valley Race and on the Senior Ski Team.
