History
Frans Carpay was an alderman with the Resort Municipality of Whistler. Originally from the Netherlands, he moved to Whistler and worked as a carpenter and builder there in the 1970s. He was elected as alderman to the second RMOW Council in 1977, serving for one term, until 1978. He later moved to Savary Island, BC. His wife is Elizabeth Carpay, with whom he has a daughter named Jillian Carpay.
