Scope and content

Group photograph of the Jardine / Neiland and MacComb families outside the Neiland's house at Mile 34 1/2 [Function Junction area]. Back row(from left to right): Jenny Jardine, Lizzie Neiland holding Sam Betts, Thomas Neiland Sr (in the back), Marion MacComb holding her daughter, and Joyce Edwards. Front row (from left to right): Louise Betts in a black velvet hat and coat made from Myrtle Phillip's evening gown and Arnold MacComb.

The part of the house showing is the house the Neilands built on to the original structure. There were two downstairs bedrooms. Upstairs was quite open and beds were "here and there".
