Winter and Summer Travel Planners - Whistler Resort Association Promotional Booklets

Four travel planners created by the Whistler Resort Association to promote both Winter and Summer seasons between 1997 and 2000. Three of the planners are from the 1997-2000 Winter seasons, and one is from 1999 promoting the Summer season.

The planners cover topics regarding tourism including, accommodation, shopping, activities, transportation, events and festivals, Whistler Blackcomb, recreation, family services, dining, tours and sightseeing, mountain and valley maps, ski school, après, the Conference Centre, directory listings, packages, reservations, advertiser listings, day trips, golf, fishing, water sports, snow sports, lift tickets, ski area comparisons, ski and snowboard races/competitions, rentals, transportation, and booking services.

DVD contains footage of weeks 1-3 of the 1988 Dave Murray Summer Ski Camp with background music. This includes footage of campers skiing, riding the chairlift, t-bars and gondola, disembarking the bus, windsurfing, long jumping, canoeing, playing tennis and volleyball, going down waterslides, enjoying a barbecue, and participating in games such as obstacle racing, egg toss, three-legged races, tug of war, and human pyramids.

DVD also includes three 'music videos' (each 1:00 long) and a 'digital scrapbook' allowing the footage to be edited and shared.

Whistler Rider's Guide - Whistler Transit System Pamphlet

Whistler Rider's Guide pamphlet published by the Whistler Transit System operated by Glacier Coach Lines from the early 1990s. The pamphlet shares bus times, stops, and a map. There is also advertising from local businesses.

Whistler Business Directories

Four paper business directory booklets printed for the Whistler Chamber of Commerce dating from 1994, 1996, and 1999. There are two of the 1999 directories (one is a duplicate). Each directory has the same cover image of a log cabin created by local Whistler artist Isobel Maclaurin. The 1994 cover image is blue, the 1996 cover image is red, and the 1999 cover image is gold. The directories list all Whistler businesses breaking them down by service sector, as well as providing an alphabetical list.
