Peter Lawrie, based in Prince George, BC, is a senior environmental protection officer for the BC provincial government. He and his wife, artist Anna-Maria Lawrie, lived in Whistler in the 2000s and 2010s. During this time, Peter was a bass/baritone with the Whistler Singers and sung on their debut album, "Ascend".

Anna-Maria Lawrie is an artist, quilter, and woodworker based in Prince George, BC. She grew up in Vancouver and completed a Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in 1989. Anna-Maria completed a Fine Arts Certificate at the College of New Caledonia in 2009. She and her husband, Peter Lawrie, lived in Whistler for a period in the 2000s/2010s. In 2011, she completed a Master's degree in art education at SFU. In 2018, she gained her provincial instructor diploma at Vancouver Community College. Her art has been displayed publicly in Whistler in the form of street banners, and in exhibitions in Prince George, Vancouver, and Williams Lake, BC. She works primarily with fabric, but also enjoys drawing, photography, knitting, computers, reading, camping, and hiking. She also works a programming position at Two Rivers Gallery and facilitates an Art Heals program through the gallery to various Northern Health patient/client units. She teaches the occasional course at the College of New Caledonia.
