Michelle Bush is a longtime figure in the Whistler arts scene, having worked as a stand-up comedian, actress, writer, columnist, filmmaker, producer, retailer, playwright, performance artist, chef, decorator, event organizer, impresario, bartender, village host, and food van driver. She is also known for founding the Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment (AWARE) in 1988.

Her performances include "By The Time Cupid Got To Whistler He Was Drunk," "Scrooge Was Right!" and "Maxine and Blair's High School Reunion."

Gardiner, Meghan

Meghan Gardiner is a Vancouver-based actress, writer, and filmmaker. She was part of the cast of "SNOW - Whistler: The Musical" along with her husband Todd Thomson. Her acting credits include Beauty and the Beast, The Music Man, A Christmas Story, My Fair Lady, Anne of Green Gables, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (on stage) and Smallville, The Good Doctor, and Supergirl (on screen). Her one-woman show, 'Dissolve,' has been touring North America since 2003.

Mike Douglas is a freeskiier known as "the godfather of freeskiing" due to his efforts in pioneering the sport during the 1990s. Douglas, who grew up in Campbell River, knew that he was destined for skiing from a young age. In high school, he shot a super 8 video called "Born to Ski" for an English assignment. This was the beginning of an auspicious career: he went on to join the New Canadian Air Force ski team, design a twin-tip ski (the Salomon 1080) in 1997, and found a Whistler production studio, Switchback Entertainment, which focuses on snow sports. His films include "50 Years of Going Beyond," a tribute to the centenary of Whistler Mountain in 2016.

Fernandez, Lisa

Lisa Fernandez is a Canadian filmmaker who has produced and directed a variety of short films and commercials, including Extreme Seniors, The Mating Rituals of the Whistler Mountain Cougar, and The First To Go Down. She received a degree in Film Production from Ryerson University and worked as a camera assistant in the Toronto Film Scene for various documentaries, music videos, advertisements and films before moving to Whistler. Fernandez has been a finalist in the 72 Hour Filmmaker Showdown five times.
