Crown Resort Accommodations was an accommodations management business which operated in Whistler from 1988 to 1998, when it was signed over to Coast Hotels & Resorts (a Vancouver accommodations chain). It was founded by Whistler resident David Demers in 1988, with just 10 units, growing to 300 units by 1998. The properties where located throughout Whistler, and a number of the Signature Homes residences were selected as accommodations for Prince Charles and his entourage during ski vacations in the 1990s. Crown Resort Accommodations employed 70 people by 1998.

Anne Crowley is a dentist living in Pemberton. She grew up in Vancouver and attended Hillside Secondary School, going on to complete a doctorate in medical dentistry at UBC between 1969 and 1977. She has been a general dentist for BC Public Health and Health Canada between 1977 and 1979, although she did open her own dental practice in Pemberton, called Pemberton Dental, in 1978. She has operated the practice ever since, also lending her time to the Pemberton Arts Council. She has a dog named Luna.

Croton Studio

Croton Studio was a commercial photography firm located in New Westminster, BC and Burnaby, BC. It was the official municipal photographer for New Westminster, and had a variety of clients, including CKNW Radio, the Finning Tractor Company, and the Vancouver Sun Newspaper. Croton Studio was established by brothers Don F. and Roy M. LeBlanc. In 1947, Don LeBlanc and his wife Dorothy arrived in New Westminster and took up residence at 1011 Eighth Avenue. Croton Studio first appears in 1949, located at 911 Twelfth Street. One or both of the brothers were owners of the business at this time. Around 1960, the studio moved to 7155 Kingsway in Burnaby. By 1967, the business had been incorporated and the name changed to Croton Studios Ltd. Don LeBlanc was owner and had moved his residence to 116 East Sixth Avenue. In 1972, a Croton photographer, Bob Dibble, bought the business when Don LeBlanc retired. Dibble owned the business until his death in 1979.

Crossan, Robert James

Rob Crossan is a Canadian former alpine ski racer who competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics and 1994 Winter Olympics. He was born March 13, 1968 and grew up in Barrie, ON. His parents were ski patrollers at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, ON, so he learned to ski at age 3 and was ski racing at age 10. By 1986, he was skiing with the Ontario Alpine Ski Team and the Canadian National Development Group, on track for the Canadian National Team, joining it in 1987. He specialized in slalom and combined events, reaching 12th place in the latter at the 1992 Albertville Olympics, the best yet placing for a Canadian in this event. He was the North American Slalom Champion in 1993 and 1994 and won 11 Canadian Championships between 1983 and 1993. Now retired and living in Collingwood, Rob is currently a Level III Ski Coach and Level III Examiner with the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation. He has also served several years as the Head Coach of the Toronto Ski Club, and is now Manager of Race and Competitions at Blue Mountain.
