The CTV Television Network (commonly known as CTV) is a Canadian English-language television network. Launched in 1961 and acquired by BCE Inc. in 2000, CTV is Canada's largest privately owned television network and is now a division of the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE. It is headquartered in Toronto, ON and has news networks in many of Canada's larger cities.

Joe Csizmazia is a long-time Whistler resident who is known for his part in pioneering heli-skiing in BC. Joe Csizmazia and Hans Mozer had started using helicopters for skiing in 1966, just before Jim McConkey took over the helicopter operations in 1968. Joe Csizmazia, Jamie Pike, Okanagan Helicopters president Glenn McPherson, Al Raine, and Peter Vajda came together to start Pacific Ski Air in 1967, with Csizmazia as company president and Cliff Jennings and Brian Rowley as guides. Csizmazia has also partaken in many Great Snow Earth Water Race events.

Peter Crutchfield is a social media and digital marketer living in Whistler. Originally from Beaconsfield, QC, he studied at John Abbott College and the University of Western Ontario (UWO). He spent his first winter season in Whistler in the 1990s working for Blackcomb Mountain as a lifty, continuing to work in ski areas in Quebec afterwards. He returned to Whistler in 1994 to work for Merlin's Bar & Grill as a bartender, then moved to Vancouver to work as an office administrator and comedian. He returned again to Whistler in 2005 to work for the Pan Pacific Whistler hotel as a night manager, social media coordinator, and finance assistant. In 2014 he began his own company, Digital Marketing Guru.

Robin Crumley was a hotel manager at the Whistler Village Inn in the 1980s. He was born in Scotland in 1941, and left his home country at age 21 to travel to New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Zambia, and Rhodesia before settling in Whistler permanently in 1968. He enjoyed playing golf in his free time, and had a son named Robin with his wife, Janet. He passed away at age 79 on June 29, 2020 at the Sea to Sky Community Hospice in Squamish after a long battle with health complications.

Mike Crum is a professional skateboarder from Dallas, TX. He began skateboarding at age 16, eventually able to travel the world and live off his talent for several years. He specialized vert skateboarding and has competed in nine consecutive X Games events from 1995 to 2003, making the podium four times in the Vert Doubles event along with partner Rune Glifberg. He opened a skatepark in Dallas called 4DWN, originally charging kids $5 a day to skate. Realizing Dallas proper boasted no free skatepark beyond spartan Saint Frances, he turned 4DWN into youth-focused non-profit with a mission of allowing kids to skate for free. The non-profit has since grown to take on other neughbourhood issues, including hunger and sustainability.
