Alex McMorran is an actor, director and musician. Originally from Vancouver, he currently lives and works in the UK. He is an alumni of the University of British Columbia and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He directed "Problem Child" in the inaugural season of Whistler's Blank Slate Theatre Festival and performed in "SNOW - Whistler: The Musical." Further acting credits include The Wedding Singer, Sweeney Todd, Amadeus, Richard III, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Titanic: A New Musical, Antony & Cleopatra, Pericles: Prince of Tyre, The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, A Christmas Carol, The Taming of the Shrew, Miracle on 34th Street, and Lonely Planet.

Longmuir, Ray

Ray Longmuir is the President of the Association of Whistler Realtors, the chair of One Whistler, and the Director of Western Mountain Resort Alliance. He is the second husband of freestyle ski champion Stephanie Sloan. He sang with the Whistler Singers as a baritone/bass as of 2003.

Eckersley, Sue

Sue Eckersley is the President of Watermark Communications Inc., an event-planning company which formerly produced the World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) (1998-2017) and the Whistler Cornucopia festival. She launched the Whistler Sled Dog Co. in 2011 in response to the cull of 56 sled dogs the previous year, with the aim of providing a model in the industry for the humane treatment of animals. The company folded in 2013, and Eckersley went on to speak out against the abuse of sled dogs.

Stephen Drover is a Vancouver-based theatre director who has directed plays across Canada, including "SNOW - Whistler: The Musical." He is currently the Associate Artistic Director of the Arts Club Theatre Company. Previously, he has been Associate Director with Theatre Newfoundland Labrador and Artistic Director for Pound of Flesh Theatre and Rumble Theatre. He sits on Studio 58's Program Advisory Committee.

Douglas, Maureen

Maureen "Mo" Douglas is a strategist, management consultant, and the Executive Director of Arts Whistler. She served as the Executive Director of the Street Access Entertainment Society in Vancouver from 1986 to 1989, the Director of Festivals and Events at Tourism Whistler (1990-1999), the Director of Communications and Community Relations for VANOC (2010 Vancouver Olympic Comittee) from 2002 to 2010, and the Chair of the Pemberton Cultural Roundtable from 2012 to 2015. She was the founder and principal of a special events management and cultural tourism development firm called Moideas Management in Whistler. She has been a mentor with Diversity Whistler Youth Group since 2014 and the Executive Director of Arts Whistler since 2016. She has done consulting work for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympic Games. She is married and lives in Pemberton.

Other past activities of Douglas' include instructing at the BC Institute of Technology, running her own event tourism consulting firm, Moideas Management, serving as a consultant for the Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and directing an executive course on "Public Sector, Public Engagement, and Communications" with Clariden Leadership Institute in Singapore. in 2014, she travelled to Sochi to advocate for better LGBTQ inclusion in the Olympic Games, leading to the International Olympic Council introducing a sexual non-discrimination clause in their charter.

Diplock, David

David Diplock is an environmental engineer and former director of the North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA). He assisted with the production of “Whistler Trail Standards: Environmental and Technical Trail Features” for the RMOW in 2001. Diplock is also an environmental engineer and has taken steps to limit the damage caused by mountain biking to the environment, including leading a hands-on workshop on trail construction at the North Shore Credit Union World Mountain Bike Festival and Conference in 2005, and serving on a team of consultants offering advice for the District of North Vancouver in 2007 on the issue of mountain biking on undesignated trails.

DeBoer, Andrew

Andrew DeBoer was a member of the Whistler Cycling Committee and author of the first draft of "Whistler Trail Standards: Environmental and Technical Trail Features" in 2001. As of 2018-19, he was the Director of Northern Relations for the 99 Trials Association, a mountain biking association.

Busdon, Nello

Nello Busdon and his wife Jenny first moved to Whistler circa 1967. They purchased lot #5734 from Glen Creeman in 1976. The couple were active in the community, running a drama group that preformed live theatre and participating in the Annual Chateau Whistler Cup Loppet (a cross-country ski race). Nello served as a director of the Whistler Mountain District Chamber of Commerce in the early 1970s.

In 1984 the couple and their two children, Nicholas and Melanie, left Whistler for Sun Valley, Idaho. A farewell roast held for them at The Black Forest was attended by 150 people.

Bunbury, Vicky

Vicky Bunbury is the current Executive Director at Whistler Summit Centre, having begun this post in October 2018. Prior to this, she worked at Whistler Waldorf School from 2002-2017 and Whistler Kids (at Whistler-Blackcomb) from 1987-2002.
