The company had bases in Edson, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, High Level, Peace River, Hinton, and Whitecourt (all in Alberta), as well as Chetwynd, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Kamloops, Nakusp, Smithers, Williams Lake, and Vancouver (all in BC). The company was headquartered in Richmond, BC. It shut its doors in 2021.

The Canadian Masters Alpine Association unites adult skiers and encourages skiers to compete and race even into their elder years. The association was incorporated into Alpine Canada and continues as an active program with its own National Committee and National Team. The Alpine Canada Masters’ program is a recreational program that allows adult skiers to develop their technical skills and maintain a healthy lifestyle while competing with skiers from across the country and internationally. This program is for female and male ski racers aged 18 (as of December 31) to 85 and over.

BC Hydro was created in 1961 when the BC Hydro Act, passed by Premier WAC Bennett, merged the BC Electric Company with the BC Power Commission.
