Drew Tait was originally from West Vancouver. When he moved to Whistler, he worked in the kitchen at the Cheakamus Inn during the winter of 1966-67, and he lived at Toad Hall off and on from 1967 to 1972. He went on to live at the Soo Valley logging camp Toad Hall and worked for Whistler Mountain for a total of 40 years, mostly as a packer driver. He is in the famous “Toad Hall” poster. He died of lung cancer on Feb 14, 2016.
